SAN PEDRO, CA: Silva Construction (www.silvaconstruction.com), a construction and home remodeling company in Southern California, had their whole team out at night to save a construction site that was flooded by heavy recent rains.
Silva Construction Production Manager Jamie Clarke stated “I just wanted to give a shout out to an amazing bunch of people. The last couple of weeks at work have been difficult to say the least. In Southern California we are not used to this kind of heavy rain. My staff stepped up big time! Going out in the middle of the night to help cover a house that was flooded. Walking on slippery roofs. Getting soaking wet. Always doing this work with a smile, and making the customer feel at ease. It wasn’t just the men, the ladies stepped up as well. Filling sand bags, handing up tools while getting soaked, all while praying that the guys on the roof were safe. The big boss was also there, on the roof, vacuuming up water in 50° temperatures.”
“We also had a client that had a break-in while she was not at home. My guy came in the next day, secured her entire house and made her feel comfortable. I cannot say enough about these people. I’m really lucky, no blessed to work with, such a great group. Love you all! This group operates as a team,” concluded Clarke.
