When was the last time you had someone look at your furnace?
Here in Southern California we don’t need to use our furnaces very often. The last couple of weeks the temperature has been dipping down in to the low 50s. That is a little chilly. Because we don’t use our furnaces that much they can fall in to dis-repair and you might not notice. This can be a hazard both because of fire and your health. Most people don’t realize that having a dirty filter or air ducts can affect your breathing and can be a fire hazard.

Do you know how old your furnace is? The life expectancy of a furnace is between 16 to 20 years. If yours is any older than that you should consider replacing it. You never want to replace your furnace because of an emergency. You really want to have time to research what is best for your home. For instance if you have a 2 story home you might want a furnace with a thermostat on each floor so that no one gets too hot or too cold. If you are thinking about replacing your furnace give me a call at 310-831-6310
