The crew of Silva Construction volunteers staffed the water station at the 10K Super Bowl Sunday Run in Redondo Beach, CA. All of us were up well before the race started to set up the tables, pouring cups of water to quench the thirst of all the runners.
It was fun helping the runners and seeing all the costumes and creativity that goes into this race from the baby buggies, dancing skirts, puppies, and the group of fish swimming up stream. (I think they were suppose to be salmon and they ran the race backwards…very clever.)
