Question: I got a call from a woman who asked, “If I start a kitchen remodel on the 19th of October will it be finished by November 25th so I can have Thanksgiving here in a new kitchen?”
Answer: Yes, it would be possible if certain conditions exist and I would have to know a bit more
about this proposed remodel.
Do you have plans and permits for the work to be done? Do you already have all the cabinets, appliances, plumbing fixtures, and light fixtures. Have you selected and purchased your countertops or tile. Have you selected and purchased your flooring.
Are you moving any plumbing or electrical?
If you can say yes to all the above then YES it can be done. If the answer is NO then
It will be a bit more difficult to meet the 25th November target.
The following items are the variables that can extend the completion date:
Are you changing any structure such as, are you opening, moving or removing any walls?
Are these walls to be moved bearing walls? Are you installing any windows or skylights?
